Preparation for Erika to enter to Hoikuen
Last week we received a telephone call from the City Hall that starting next month Erika can enter in a Hoikuen or a Daycare nursery . These Hoikuen or Day care nurseries looks after children who cannot be cared for at home in the daytime for the reason that both parents working full time, falling ill, or having a family member who needs care or is handicapped, and are based on the Child Welfare Act.
I already applied for a job and its good because it is just a walking distance from our home. But opposite from what we expected if I got a job,its not that easy to enter in a daycare center all hoikuen near our place where full of babies and children, and she cityhall got a daycare school a little far from us which starts next month. I know it will be very hard for me more with Erika to adapt in her new environment without her "mama" on her side.
I plan to bring her to hoikuen this starting Friday so that she can play with other kids during the practice of "ondukai".I hope she can easily adapt to her new environment and forget about breastfeeding in daytime.
Sigh...
Sounds like it will be a good trip. Good luck with everything on your journey over.
